My weight loss journey

Hello, my #bohogirlies I hope and pray all of you all are doing great.

I get so many questions regarding my weight loss journey. So today I’ve decided to share with you a bit more of my story and how I succeeded in loosing over 17 kgs. I truly hope this helps someone who is struggling with their weight and trying to stay healthy.
Firstly, I want to say there is nothing bad about being a plus size if you are comfortable in your skin, you should not change for anyone
Here are some of my before and after pictures:

I started gaining weight during my boards and I was so sad with my weight that I stopped going out with family and friends because I never felt good in my own skin. I felt disgusted with my own body.
As unhappy I have been with my weight I ate more just to change my mood and feel better and as i result I gained more weight.

There was a time when I suffered with depression too. And then came to my rescue mom. And i thank my mom till date for what I am.
She forced me to go and join a diet clinic. As i started going to the clinic i started seeing the changes and my lifestyle changed because i no longer wanted to go back to the same old fat girl i used to be.
I created goals for myself. I wrote a to do list daily of what i should   be doing and stuff.

Stop excusing yourself with lots of "just this once" lines and make weight loss your priority.
If you truly want to lose weight, you must make it a priority––not only when it’s convenient or easy.Throw out "just this once" from your vocabulary; notice yourself saying it and say "stop" to yourself and reconsider your eating choice.
Stop using these lines-
"I can't lose weight. I'm just too tired."
"I can't lose weight. It's too boring to go without food."
I can't lose weight. I don't do deprivation; it's just not pretty. Anyway, who cares, I'd rather die younger and happier than old and deprived."

Here are some things I followed:

DIET PLAN- A good diet is the most important thing you have to follow for weight loss.If you don't want to spend on diet clinics you can follow diets available on the internet too. It takes a shit ton of motivation and even more self-control. It’s not easy. It takes time, extra energy and a good attitude.
here is the link of the dietician that changed my life - SONIA NARANG, I can not thank her enough for what i am and feel today.

You have to think that you eat to live – not live to eat. You can work out like crazy, but if you’re putting crap in your body everyday nothing’s going to change.

Here are some do's and dont's

GREEN TEA- It is the only beverage that makes you slim, prevents cancer, makes your skin glow and reduces cholesterol. I drink green tea 3 times a day after every meal in a gap of 30 minutes.
If you cannot drink tea because of its flavor, choose flavored green teas.

EXERCISE- It's a fact: You have to burn more calories than you eat and drink to lose weight. Exercise pays off in the long run by keeping those pounds off. Research shows that getting regular physical activity is "the only way to maintain weight loss,
I never went to gym for exercising, I don't know why, but the gym was not my thing. I used to walk for 45-60 mins or I used to do the treadmill for 40 mins and it was after 2 weeks that i started loosing weight so quickly, but the main thing is, one should be persistent with it.I made it a habit to do treadmill daily and whenever due to college or other thing I was not able to do it I felt bad. It is a proven fact that exercising makes you happier :D

WATER INTAKE-  Drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water can do wonders. It promotes weight loss, prevents acne breakout, improves skin and increases energy levels.
It helps tremendously in weight loss and if you can't drink simple water, add a few drops of lemon or little pieces of fruits to add some taste to it.

Losing weight has everything to do with creating healthier habits. To do this you need to switch up your routines. Basically, if you do what you always do then you are going to get what you always get

It’s all about decisions and tradeoffs. But YOU are the one making the decisions and YOU are the only person that’s going to hold you accountable so don’t take shortcuts or cheat yourself in the process of being a better you for your future. So get yourself up in the more with enthusiasm and make everyday great!

I’m very, very happy that I did this for myself and I’m so proud of myself. But I’m also SO glad I had this moment and feeling that I hadn’t had in months. It was such a “remember how good this fucking feels and keep going”

OUT OF THE WOODS

Sweater: Forever 21         Skirt: The hype shop          Shoes: Forever 21        Bag: Janpath

Holla people! How have you all been?
So it is officially fall now. There is a nip in the air. I usually am a summer baby, but there is something about this weather that makes me fall in love with it.
So, bid a goodbye to summer, autumn is finally here.

Things that I love about fall:
  •  Sweaters
  • Boots
  • Scarves
  • Leaves
  • Hoodies
  • Crisp air
  • Late night talks
  • Tea
  • Cuddling
  • Hot chocolate

So I paired this cute oatmeal color sweater with lace detailing at the bottom that I am completely obsessed with, with a black skater skirt and this gorgeous black crushable wool felt hat which I was eyeing for like an eternity, it seems, and finally found it, for shoes I wore these cool black gladiator sandals which are so on trend this season.
This complete outfit gives a really cool not trying too hard to dress up kind of vibe and is still cute at the same time.

Now coming to you guys <3
You my angels are my pillars of strength, you keep me going I so wish I could just hug each one of you who appreciate what I do and you guys are a part of my journey and we will be doing it together.
Do tell me how you like it, it would mean much so that I could work harder for you guys.
I love you oodles and oodles

FESTIVE SEASON - DIWALI POST 2

So as all you guys requested here is another Diwali post for you my angels.
I did not want to create yet another simple Suit and Salwar look for you all because you all must have already seen that, right?
I wanted to wear a saree but in a way that looks stylish and girly at the same time, so i took a dupatta pleated and draped it over jeans and wore a neon pink crop top to go with it.
I accessorized it with gold accents and i was done.
I know some people will like it and some won't, but my duty is to present you something new every time. Hope you all like it, would love to know your views on it <3

Until next time stay blessed
I love you oodles and oodles

FESTIVE SEASON - DIWALI POST

Diwali is also known as Deepawali which means the festival of lights.

So Diwali is almost around the corner and the houses are being cleaned, lights are being lit, new clothes are being bought and what not.

I know how confusing it can be to decide what to wear on Diwali as we all want to look fancy and traditional at the same time.I myself love ethnic clothing way too much and this post was a great excuse to wear an ethnic outfit.

I am digging on tribal, ethnic outfits lately, so I paired this black ghaghra which my mom bought last year with a lacy black crop top.To give this simple outfit more of a festive look I added some bling with some Kundan jewelry from my mother's closet and braided and tied my hair in a messy bun.

Lastly, I want to thank all you people for liking my posts and taking your precious time out and commenting and messaging and encouraging me to work harder for you guys.
I love you oodles and oodles.
